Colin Huizing is an independent curator and producer of exhibitions and books for institutions, artists and publishers.
In recent years he has been working as senior curator of the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam. Currently he work as an independent curator and producer and conducts an
an extensive research on the oeuvre of Dutch conceptual artist stanley brouwn.
In 2015 Colin Huizing co-curated the Dutch entry for the Venice Biennale: herman de vries – to be all ways to be, about the current relation and dislocation between men, culture and nature. The exhibition was sited in the Dutch Pavilion, the Laguna and the city of Venice.
Colin Huizing advices cultural institutions on their policy on collection and exhibition programs, cultural foundations on their policy on grants, and individual artists on their concepts and strategy for exhibitions or book publications.
